I Can't See My Music!

My students need 12 more music stands in order to see their music during class.

As a 6th-12th band director I strive to challenge the students everyday, and to inspire them to set and achieve goals for themselves.

Our band program has been growing for the past three years, and we are now at the point of out-growing our supply of music stands. In our current situation we have three students sharing one music stand in our high school concert band. This creates several problems with posture, playing positions, and students not being able to see properly. In the coming year, we will have 34 students moving up to the high school band, and only eight seniors leaving. This is going to create a severe stand shortage, and we will students that will not have a music stand at all.

In order to solve this problem and to be able to provide a music stand for all the students, we need twelve music stands. This would allow the students to see their music properly, play their instrument with the proper playing position and posture.

Your help will ensure that my students can learn effectively in the classroom, and not be left holding their music with no music stand. You can make a difference in a student's life today!
