Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In order to prepare students for the 21st century and beyond, we must expose students to the latest techological advances available; technological advances, like the iPad, can serve as a bridge for learning by connecting students to a wide range of educational resources.
Help me give my students a set of i-Pads.
These iPads will allow my students to access educational Apps and games that will make learning more interactive and engaging. By using the iPad Apps, students will improve in reading fluency, math, science and all other content areas. It will enhance their critical thinking skills, expand their creativity, all while increasing their digital literacy. My goal is to have students utilize these iPads for independent work, partner group, and whole group. For example, they can listen to stories independently in Apps like Epic; they can reasearch, create and deliver digital presentations with a partner to the whole class.
