One of my main priorities as a teacher is to support my students' social and emotional needs. I feel it is of utmost importance to teach my students how to recognize their emotions and learn self-regulation strategies to keep them in the classroom learning and avoid negative consequences.
My students will use these materials, yoga mat, fidget tubes, and area rug, to self-regulate their behaviors.
Having several options to choose from will ensure all of my students' preferences and needs are met.
