More than half of my students are on an individualized education plan. But, we do not let our diagnosis define us. We overcome challenges together and appreciate each uniqueness in every person. In all areas, it is our goal to gear up for success. Students learn goal setting, evaluate their own success, assess their personal growth and learning, and reflect on objectives and how to make new goals. Students are set up for success not only in the classroom but for life.
Students will find the courage and be motivated to become a world problem solvers using STEM, read-aloud books, and collaborative learning.

My Project
My students are affected by special needs in the areas of autism, speech delayed, and other impairments. Being able to read lips and facial expressions, and communicate on their technology devices is a must! Teachers and students need masks with clear view windows to maintain a positive and healthy learning environment and disinfecting wipes to keep eye glasses and technology clean throughout the day.
Masks with clear view window, disinfecting wipes for technology, and colored coded tape will help my students affected by special needs to learn in a healthy environment.
