My Project

I am requesting beginning leveled readers for independent reading.

I teach third grade and most of the books I have are at the third-grade reading level.

I am lacking books for students that are transitioning from beginning readers to the third-grade level.

I have chosen books that will be used for independent reading as well as other classroom projects. I have added some biographies. My class does a biography research report each year but most of the biographies I have are above my students' comprehension level. In addition, I have added a few science books that support our science program. Having these popular books at an easier reading level will encourage my students to want to read and make them more confident readers.
