I Can Paint Myself Flowers.....

My Project

Michaelangelo, Cervantes, Monet,......who will be our next masterpiece artist. My students love art. And they love to paint! We have started the year doing watercolor and they are really quite talented at it. So I am taking a chance here and moving on to acrylics.

Art is not only relaxing, it is an important part of humanity.

This project will provide supplies for students to create acrylic art projects for their mothers on Mother's Day. The art cubbies will help organize paint and make mixing colors easier. The brushes will serve to help with different brushstrokes and shapes. And of course we must have aprons!!! We already have picked out the picture we will paint for our moms. It will take several days. We will have to practice with mixing paint colors. But brains will be engaged and artistic creativity will ensue. And who knows, one day a hundred years from now, someone may pick up one of these kiddos projects and purchase it for one million dollars because they learned how to be the next Picasso in art class.
