I need "Common-Sense Classroom Management" strategies for my special education classroom. A visual daily schedule, small groups rotation chart, visual directions paddles, and a lesson plan book, will help ensure a well run class!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are amazing! They are special students with special needs. Students have been identified with Autism as well as Specific Learning Disabilities. My students are intelligent and eager to learn. They can be silly and playful. They love to sing and dance. They love to learn new things and show what they already know as well. They smile and giggle and have their own language between friends. But most importantly, they love school and I want to make sure that continues!
The things that I can teach and use to make learning fun and meaningful will help my students grow as important, productive members of our school community and society.
Learning for my students must be hands-on. Learning for them must be interesting. Learning for them must be active. Being active participants in their own learning is most important and most beneficial to the development of their minds and bodies. Materials that help us to keep our learning organized is also important. Things that allow for family participation is important as well.
I need your help to make learning the best experience it can be for my students!
My Project
I transitioned from teaching in a general education classroom into teaching in a special education classroom. And though I went through a teacher education program to earn my second teaching credential, I believe in the importance of being a life-long learner. Therefore, I would like to read about and learn "Common-Sense Classroom Management" strategies while in distance learning so that when we do return to brick and mortar schools I will be better prepared to implement strategies that work and help my classroom become one that is organized, efficient, and effective. This will enable me to ensure that my students reach their Individualized Education Plan goals. Classroom management is the foundation of teaching. I need these strategies and skills to be the best teacher I can be!
