I Can Learn from My Mistakes

My Students

My students are amazing. They are trying to learn to read every day in class. They are taking home a book every night and doing weekly homework. They work hard every day during small intervention groups. They are nice to each other and trying to be safe, respectful, and responsible.

Some students come from very hard home lives but they come with a smile every day.

Some of my students have a hard time speaking English but they try hard every day.

My Project

We all learn from our mistakes. When we a trying to learn new things, it is nice that we can make mistakes and no one knows what our mistakes are (except maybe the teacher).

Help me give my students whiteboards for interactive work that they can use at school and at home.

I love having the students work on whiteboards in my class. I can immediately see if they are understanding the concept that I am trying to teach. They hold up their whiteboard and show me their answers and I can assess quickly. It is a nonthreatening way for my students to learn.
