This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you Hear me now? YES! The sound of edu- websites is productive, however it can be very distracting to the many different learning styles of the students in the class, and especially when we are learning in different groups. Please help us learn in an engaging distraction free environment.

The students at our class are very motivated learners.

The school has mobile devices and provide many opportunities for teaching and learning. Technology is integrated in all facets of the curriculum. From extra practice to taking tests. Our school was fortunate enough to get a couple computers in each classroom for the students to use. They are using the devices to do listen to stories, record themselves reading, reinforce skills and create projects, as well as researching and practicing their math. The students are really eager to learn and want do their best. They love working on the mobile devices and look forward to them daily. Our school a grade B school. Students are learning because of the wonderful teaching staff and their dedication to education. They use the technology in their classrooms to enhance learning and make it more meaningful for the students. It is reflected in the attitudes and motivation of the students.

My Project

Students will be able to use the ear-buds with their tablets in the classroom for more effective learning. They will be able to engage in activities on their mobile devices without being a distraction to the other students. They will be able to better focus on their tasks at hand. Students will be able to work in collaborative groups and create projects to justify their understanding of Math and Science objectives. Podcasting and listening to stories and other audio that they've created will be a cinch with ear-buds. The noise level generated by a classroom using mobile devices will be much more easily managed with a set of ear-buds.

Can life get any better than having a working set of ear buds and a handy, fun leaning device in your hands?

No! They are imperative and will help maintain an orderly, well managed classroom. Students will be able to listen and learn with more structure. Getting the tablets and ear-buds project funded would have a great impact on student learning and integrating technology into the classroom. Donations to this project would give the students what they need to continue to achieve greatness!
