This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in the English Language Arts Bilingual/ESL class will benefit from having headphones to use with their Chromebooks. The school supplies Chromebooks for the students to use. However, there are not enough headphones for the whole school. Therefore, having an organization that can provide the students with headphones will be a great service!

A lot of our students are newcomers who are learning a new language.

The school offers great programs for these students. These programs support them in a way that requires that the students use their listening, speaking and writing domain. The majority of the lessons are read aloud to the students and ask the students to participate. Therefore, having a pair of headphones for each student is absolutely important.
