My Students

I have such an awesome group of students this year! They are so happy to be in school full time (dang COVID!) and are ready to learn! They enjoy group activities, partner work, art projects, and thrive in reading!

My Project

I have several students in my class who struggle with focusing. There are times when listening to a story, or a math lesson are difficult. Their hands are unable to stay still. I have found when they have something to hold, squish, or rotate between their hands that they are then able to focus.

I would like several different items for them to choose between when they need something to help them focus.

Each item will belong to them and will be in a special place where they can access it when needed. No sanitizing in between usage will be needed as it will belong to them.

I think this will greatly increase their focus on academics. I also think this will help them build confidence in their academic ability!
