Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Coming back from a pandemic and still dealing with the pandemic, some students are still having a hard time readjusting to school.
If students struggle with their social-emotional, their academics will suffer.
The benefits of social-emotional learning are students will have fewer behavior problems, less emotional stress, and positive social behavior. All the characteristics the students need to be successful by developing stronger social and emotional skills.
These materials would allow students to be able to express themselves in a way that would allow them to feel safe and communicate in a fun and effective way. When the social emotional is addressed, this will help my students do better in their academics.
