This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am so excited to teach my bilingual second-grade students! I love how 2nd graders see the world with such imagination and how they have such kind and innocent hearts. They come into the classroom excited and ready to learn!

I believe reading is the most important skill because once students can read they have endless opportunities to learn about whatever they choose.

Please help me to create a leveled library for my students to read good-fit books and make progress in their reading throughout the year. I can’t wait to share with them my love for reading and to see their reading growth as the year progresses!
