My Students

My students are my inspiration to be my best each year. Every year I wait with excitement and eagerness to set up my classroom for the my new students. I love the sparkle in their eyes and the smile on their faces as they explore their new world.

We learn and grow together, and every year is a new learning experience for me.

As we explore our worlds together, I set goals for myself to be a better teacher each year!

My Project

A good book can change a life! Books with strong messages but written in a kid friendly language and context can make a great impact on their thinking.

The 21st century learner has to be independent, creative, and a collaborator, but it's not always easy for some kids to develop these skills.

They lack the confidence or the drive to get there. I believe that the books I chose have an underlying theme of perseverance and taking a chance. These books have characters that the kids can relate to, they are funny, and thought provoking at the same time.

I am confident that my students will love these books and learn a life long message that will help them become successful in whatever they choose to do.
