My Project

We all like to feel special. This year I am very excited to implement the things that my students taught me last year. They taught me that they love to watch and learn social and emotional learning through videos. But sometimes, it’s hard to share one laptop. When processing emotions, some of them enjoy drawing, writing, coloring, listening to music or playing with fidgets. However, there were just not enough fidgets, and sometimes they felt a fondness for specific fidgets. They love personalization. And most of all when they are escalated they loved having a safe, warm space to deescalate.

I am asking for your help and support to help me provide at least 35 students with personal social-emotional learning kits that they can put together themselves.

To achieve this, I am asking for your support to purchase art supplies, journals, sketchbooks, fidget toys, paint, brushes, plastic boxes, electronic tablet, colored pencils, crayons, coloring books, card stock, stickers, and puzzles. This past school year, my students were so excited to make cards for their parents. Please help me to continue to meet my students' needs. We appreciate you in advance just for considering us.
