I Am Black History!

Help me give my students a Black History Month to remember! Scholars will celebrate Black History Month in creative ways! Items are needed to help with Trivia Night and class projects!

My Project

Scholars will celebrate Black History Month in creative ways throughout the month of February! Scholars and their families will engage in a Black History Trivia Night. Trivia Night will be a time where scholars and their families will learn about African Americans that have impacted who we are today! The items in this project will help with the funding of incentives we will provide for families. Building classroom libraries that are filled with books that are reflective of the scholars in the classroom, is the goal. Books will be added to classroom libraries for scholars to read. The Teachers Pay Teacher gift card will be used to purchase lessons and resources to use with students in class and at Trivia Night with families. Trivia Night will allow families and scholars to create Black History Month mosaics and the templates will be purchased through Teachers Pay Teachers.
