Help me give my students an opportunity to become scientists as they play, explore, learn and grow.

My Students
I teach at a Developmental Pre-K program at Title I school. Our developmental program consists of 20 children ages 3-5 with developmental delays such as cognitive, social-emotional, fine motor, and communication disorders. Play influences growth in all of these critical areas. Allowing children to play encourages students to gain these essential skills.
It’s through play that children make sense of things, from their own physical bodies to the rest of the world around them.
My Project
Help my students become scientists as they explore dinosaur bones, use microscopes, learn how gears work and conduct science experiments. I believe all students can learn and become who they want to be.
Play in the early childhood setting is a highly effective way to teach students with disabilities essential pre-academic skills.
You have the opportunity to help create life-long learners and you would be helping us achieve our school improvement plan! My students probably won't realize the magnitude of your generous gift, but I can assure you their parents do.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
