My Project
At our middle school, we strive to support our students not only academically but also in their social and emotional well-being. Our students in grades 6 through 8 come from underprivileged communities and many face challenges at home that affect their hygiene. Each day, I see students coming to me asking for deodorant, soap, or other hygiene products—basic needs that many of us take for granted but are essential for their confidence and well-being.
Unfortunately, many of our students do not have access to these necessary items, which makes it difficult for them to feel comfortable and confident at school.
Having the right tools to maintain personal hygiene is not just about cleanliness—it directly impacts their self-esteem, social interactions, and overall focus on learning.
With your generous support, I aim to provide hygiene kits that include deodorant, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, menstrual supplies, and other essential products for our students. These resources will empower our students to feel confident and cared for, ensuring they can focus on their education without the added worry of not having the hygiene supplies they need.
This project will directly impact the daily lives of our students, allowing them to have the proper hygiene products at school and avoid the embarrassment of not having the basics that so many of us take for granted.
