This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for a few hygiene items to help my students that they may not have at home. Some are embarrassed to come to school, and the ones that do get made fun of. I buy things for them out of pocket, but, the cost can get excessive. It makes it hard for them to focus on their daily tasks and distracts them from learning.

It is important to teach them self-care.

Self-care can help students manage stress and increase their energy. We will be grateful for any amount of help. Thank you in advance for everything.
