This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting support in providing hygiene products for my students at school. Many of our students come to school without access to basic personal care items such as deodorant, mouthwash, toothbrushes, and floss. These items are not just about cleanliness—they play a crucial role in helping students feel confident, comfortable, and prepared to engage in learning.

As the weather gets warmer, proper hygiene becomes even more important.

Unfortunately, some students are distracted or embarrassed due to a lack of essential hygiene products, which can negatively affect their focus, self-esteem, and overall school experience.

By supplying these items at school, we can help ensure that all students have what they need to maintain their health and dignity, allowing them to concentrate on what matters most—learning and growing.
