Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students deserve a safe, calm, reliable place where they can get the essentials for a safe, calm, reliable life. These body care items will be in a space in the classroom for students to get the items that will help them feel more calm and comfortable in their own skin.
A calm space starts with the items that make one feel at ease with one's self, especially if you're a teenager!
Imagine the sense of inner peace that comes with knowing you were able, as a teen, to choose a body wash, scrub, and face wash. Imagine the improved sense of self that can be given when access to these items are granted. Let's give them access to this sense of calm and inner peace.
