Help me give my students essential items. I am a school nurse in a rural area, and there are many kids here who do not have the hygiene products they need.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Living in a rural area, there are a lot of students who simply do not have the hygiene products they need. If we have students who are not clean or have to worry about things like their period starting and not having supplies, they are not as successful in the classroom.
As the school nurse I am wanting to help provide some of these items to these students.
I chose to add deodorant and the feminine hygiene products to my list because these are essential items that students should have easy access to, but that many students may not be able to afford.
