This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The years ago, I received gunning to start a school based food pantry. I stated it serving 5 to 10 families a week. Now there are 20 to 25 families coming every week. The site I order food from only allows me to spend $750 per order so I usually have to pass on hygiene products and focus on food. That amount of money doesn't cover the food I need.
My families request personal hygiene products weekly.
I would like to continue to try to get the hygiene products whenever possible. I know I feel better when I'm feeling clean and I works like my students to feel the same way.
