My Project
I am requesting deodorant and period packs for our 4th and 5th grade students. Ensuring access to hygiene products for 4th and 5th grade girls in low-income schools is paramount for their health, dignity, and educational success. Lack of access to products like sanitary pads or tampons can lead to absenteeism and discomfort, hindering their ability to focus on class.
By providing these essentials, we empower girls to stay in school, participate fully, and reach their potential.
Additionally, fostering an environment where hygiene products are readily available reduces stigma and promotes open discussions about personal care. It's a small but impactful step towards creating a more equitable educational experience for all students.
