Help me give my students a clean safe library for the upcoming school year!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Marjo's classroom raised $226
This project is fully funded
My Students
Our students are all special needs, ages 3-21. They enjoy things all students enjoy, hanging out with their friends, listening to music, all types of books, going new places, and seeing new things.
Many of our students are medically fragile and high risk, keeping the library clean is imperative to keeping everyone healthy!
As we grow up, we may find very different meanings in a childhood classic. We love books with students who look like us, but sometimes it is hard to borrow books from the public library. Sometimes we aren't very quiet or still. Some of our students struggle with mental illness and are working to use their coping skills, being able to move while they learn is helpful and allows us to quiet our minds and bodies.
My Project
These items will allow for the library to be throughly cleaned and disinfected after every class and are able to be used on our new flexible seating. Many of our students are medically fragile, this makes it imperative that we are able to disinfect high traffic areas and seating during the coming school year. Students did not get to visit the library last year, hopefully they will be back with me for in person classes this year and that means I need to keep them as safe as possible while in the library.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
