My Project

As an educator, I've seen firsthand the challenges some of our students face, particularly those in lower-income households. Basic hygiene items, often taken for granted, can be a luxury for many. This isn't just about cleanliness; it directly impacts a student's confidence, health, and ability to learn.

Imagine a student who is hesitant to participate in class because they're self-conscious about their appearance or feel uncomfortable.

Or a child who misses school due to preventable illnesses caused by a lack of access to hygiene products. These are not isolated incidents; they are daily realities for too many of our bright, deserving students.

That's why I'm putting together hygiene kits for students at our school. These kits will contain essential items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, and other personal care products. They can be taken home for consistent use or stored discreetly in the classroom for any student who needs an immediate refresh.

My goal is to remove a significant barrier to learning and well-being. By providing these kits, we can help ensure that every student feels clean, confident, and ready to engage in their education. It's a small investment with a profound impact, fostering a more equitable and supportive learning environment for all.
