This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are inquisitive, bright, and enthusiastic learners. They are interested in learning and staying engaged during our online and in person lessons. Despite the fact that they've been learning remotely due to the pandemic, they are eager to learn. On August 16 students will return to campus.
Unfortunately many families are experiencing unemployment, evictions, COVID-19, and loss of loved ones.
Many students of our community live in small apartments or homes where they live with several families due to the high cost of living. Some families can't afford to buy basic school supplies for their children.
My Project
Unfortunately our students know all the challenges our community is facing due to COVID and now Delta. We are returning to school and working towards a new normal and we want to make our hygiene project a reality. Our students are engaged, excited, and ready to help rebuild our school community. They need some help with necessities like hygiene products and laundry supplies to get back to attending school in person. Our classroom is a safe space to be who you are and to ask for what you need. Help us to provide students a bit of help.
