My Project

What I love about my students is their resilience and eagerness to learn, even in the face of economic challenges. Many of my students come from low-income backgrounds, and they often lack access to basic hygiene products, which can affect their self-esteem and make them feel excluded. This project aims to provide essential self-care items like lotion, deodorant, pads, hair ties, gel, and hand sanitizer directly in the classroom. These resources will ensure that every student feels valued and supported, allowing them to engage in school without worrying about their personal hygiene.

By establishing a hygiene care station, I can help alleviate the financial burden on families and promote a sense of dignity and belonging for all students.

After physical activities like gym class, students will feel comfortable and confident, eliminating the fear of judgment. This initiative will create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment where students can thrive academically and emotionally, regardless of their circumstances.
