Help me give my students toiletries and personal items they need to keep themselves clean and confident. Students need a place to go to get items they cannot afford but desperately need to stay healthy.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our ninth-grade students are wonderful, fun kids whose lively personalities are tempered by generational poverty. They often go without the necessities that give them confidence in their personal hygiene. We are working to make these available to them upon request so that they can have what they need without worry.
Building a pantry of hygiene products and other necessities has been a core focus for our ninth-grade team this year; please help us make this a reality for our students.
Imagine being able to pick up what you need every other week on your way out for the weekend. Whether it's shampoo and deodorant or some weekend snacks, this is what we hope to achieve for our students. The availability of these items will make a difference in their lives and take pressure off their families.
