One of our science standards asks students to complete an experiment with variables. What fun it would be to do something with hydroponic systems against soil systems. Many students have never heard of hydroponic systems, so this is going to be something I can introduce to them as well as explore our science experiments with the hydroponic system. This is sure to be fun.
As the project comes to an end in the spring, students will get to take a plant or flower home to continue to care for on their own.
