This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Often times we see those in our community who are in need of water to drink because they don't often have an area for them to get this water. We would like to give water bottles to those who are in need; students will create a map where there are water stations that they can refill. This will be given to those that are gifted it by students.

We are seeking donations for reusable water bottles that will be distributed to volunteers participating in our community service activities.

By providing these bottles, we aim to encourage sustainability, reduce single-use plastic waste, and promote hydration among our team members as they work to make a positive impact. Our goal is to go outside our school to give waters to those in need. Whether it be a worker or someone on the street who is in need of some. Our students will research areas in our environment where there is a need for assistance with basic needs like water bottles. The goal is for our students to create a map and plan to identify which areas are of high need that they can deliver to.
