This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are children who enjoy playing during recess as well as physical education. Playing as intensely as they do causes them to become very thirsty. Some of them come prepared with water daily, while others depend on the water fountains at school. Sometimes the water fountains on campus have had the sun hit them all day, causing the water to come out warm and not so refreshing.
By providing these Stanley water jugs for our classroom, there will always be refreshing water within their reach.
Having the jugs in the classroom will eliminate the need to use plastic water on a daily basis for some students. My students will be able to get up and have a drink of water without the need to leave the classroom.
