Help me give my students supplies that they need to be able to work at home and in school during COVID without having to come in contact with other students supplies by keeping everything in their plastic box.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Tobin's classroom raised $291

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 30 low income, inner city youth in Philadelphia. My scholars are 5 years old and in kindergarten. They are from many different races and cultures which is what I love about our classroom families. My students are active, energetic and technology savvy. I enjoy my job very much and watching the students learn and grow daily is amazing.
My scholars have a thirst for knowledge and are eager to learn new information.
The majority of my students come to kindergarten with very little preparation for learning. Many have no books in their homes and have not learned to hold a pencil when they start with me in September.
As of right now, my students will be in school 2 days a week with me teaching in person and 3 days at home doing online learning. In person, we will need to each have our own supplies and no sharing is allowed. At home, students will be completing assignments on the computer and will also be watching me teach new material live on the computer.
My Project
Each student will be given their own plastic pencil box to keep all of their school supplies organized. This will allow students to have their own materials that they need when they are learning at school and can be transported to home on the days that they do online learning. They will also have plastic homework folders and communication folders.
We need to keep each student safe and free from illness.
The boxes and folders are plastic and are able to be easily wiped down as they transport from home and school. The students will not need to share supplies as each student will have the same tools in their own personal box to keep social distance and be touchless.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
