New Year, New Us! Husky Pawfee is the right place for you!
Husky Pawfee is a non-profit student lead coffee shop for the teachers at HMS.
Inspired by Mark Lichty's Honi's Coffee House, we have decided to create our own version called Husky Pawfee! The main objective behind Husky Pawfee is not only to raise funds for our school but also to make a positive impact on children's lives in an orphanage called La Finca in Honduras. Through this project, our students will have the opportunity to acquire and develop essential leadership skills, learn about entrepreneurship, teamwork, and gain hands-on experience in running a business.
This is a new endeavor to our campus led by our AVID Teacher. She has opened this up to all 6-8 grade students that want to learn more about coffee, learn about business, or want to support the needs of others. To ensure smooth operations, we will require a 3 shelf cart. This cart will be used to transport various items including airpots, cups, ingredients, and goodie bags. Having a designated cart will help us stay organized and efficiently move everything we need for our coffee business. Additionally, it would be beneficial for us to have a chalkboard to display our menu. This will not only add a touch of creativity, but it will also make it easier for our customers to see their options. We can update the menu regularly to keep things fresh and exciting. Since we are starting from the ground up, we need cups, creamers, stirrers/syrups, condiments, and tons of other supplies we are asking for. By having these materials in place, we will be able to create and package our coffee products effectively.
