My Students
My students are some of the most amazing I have ever met. They enjoy coming to school and achieving their goals. Creating art and using their hands allows for them to express their individuality.
Being able to incorporated technology to research artist is and bring their artwork to life will bring them to the next level.
Students need laptops to learn about the artist, different techniques, art history, and programs will make this a reality. Being able to use the laptops to research this will also help increase their reading skills and help with test scores.
The majority of the students come from low-economical households, students and parents d not have the financial means to provide essentials since Hurricane Irma, things have become even tighter for parents
My Project
With technology being important in today, I am hoping to complete a class set of thirty laptops for my class. This is part 2 of of this project. Having laptops accessible in my classroom will allow for my students to research artist, art history, different types of techniques in art, and new programs for art.
As a teacher, my job is to expose my students to as much educational material as possible with limited technology in my classroom this make very challenging in the world of technology.
Having the laptops will also allow for students plan for their future by researching careers, and colleges. This project will give us a total of seven laptops toward the goal of thirty.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
