This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is rich in both traditional and cutting-edge educational instruction. We proudly provide our scholars with a strong academic program that includes project-based learning, use of technology in the classroom, digital learning, various reading incentive programs and learning platforms tailored to each student's learning needs and aspirations.

We are a Vanguard (Gifted) Title I school.

Our energetic learners thrive on rigorous and challenging lessons. We have a vast academic curriculum including visual arts and robotics. Our students need technology to advance their education experience.

My Project

Our students and school would greatly benefit from access to technology. Our project would include utilizing technology on a daily basis to include enrichment projects and remediation. Our students would be able to use programs that offer differentiated lessons for each student.this will offer support to each students based on individual needs. We will also use tablets for researching projects in our math enrichment classes. This will offer an opportunity to blend math across curriculum. We currently have very limited access to computers and tablets. Having more technology with a Dell laptop, Fire tablet and an Echo will also increase our students engagement resulting in higher test scores and comprehension.
