This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are 4th- 5th graders who are bilingual in Spanish and in English and want to start their year with a library full of different genre books. My class is full of strong and capable individuals who are ready for a year full of adventures and learning.
My Project
I am a new teacher and I know how important it is to have a library with different genre books available. A library where my students' imaginations run free and are able to visit different places and be in a variety of scenarios just by reading a book. Good books in my library are essential for the education of my 4th and 5th Bilingual class because who are we if we do not read books that teach us about a variety of topics and themes that can be transformed into long learning lessons.
