My Students

During such a devastating time in life, my students are in need of technology devices. My students have been without adequate school instruction for some time now and that truly breaks my heart. Chicago schools are supposed to be promoting e-learning, but how is that possible when the majority of my students do not have a working computer at home. CPS promised 90,000 devices for the students but most of my 1st-grade students did not receive anything and were placed on a "Waitlist." There is such an injustice for my students who are living in such poverty-stricken areas. They are too young to have a voice on such a crucial situation. It truly saddens me that these children will lose almost a year of learning. Please help us so that these young children can at least learn to get some form of education.

My Project

During this distance learning experience, my students does not have adequate healthy meal at home. My school district promised my students a healthy meals,but recently they have been closed for the last two weeks. Hunger is real and it amazes me how many of my students have not been receiving any form of healthy food. Distance learning has become a struggle because now all of my students are now worrying about is receiving meals throughout the day. If you will help me give my students these small snacks, I will personally contact free deliver them these small snacks so that their little bellies could be full.
