Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school is home to over 500 students in a diverse city. Lancaster is a hub for refugee and immigrant families, and we often have influxes of newcomers to our area. Often, they need access to items such as food and will come in and use our school's laundry room.

In this request, our school would benefit greatly from having snacks and food on hand to be able to give to our newcomer or homeless families.

There are also items for our laundry room that will be helpful for our families, such as laundry wash pods and a laundry basket for them to use.
