This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are hard working, curious and enthusiastic about learning Computer Science. They realize the future is predicated on learning computer skills.
They are from a low-income households in Queens, New York.
They would greatly benefit from any materials that will enrich our CS program.
My Project
These books will be used for in class activities and homework assignments. Our Computer Science program is new and other than free apps we have no materials to help guide the curriculum. These books will serve as a much needed requirement to fullfill academic goals.
These books will go along way in enriching the program, supplying students with a guide line of their assignments and satisfy their curiousity to go further in their Computer Science endeavors.
It is essential they become digital citizens and these books will help that cause.
