My Project

Beyond academic achievement, hunger can hurt a child's ability to build and strengthen their social-emotional skills. When children are hungry, they typically have less energy and the ability to focus. So you can imagine that feeling tired and distracted impacts a child's social interactions and behavior.

We've all been hungry and it doesn't feel good.

With your support our elementary school will be able to restock our food pantry. We use this pantry to support students that come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Did you know that nearly one in five children in America live in households without consistent access to adequate food? Your contribution will help us send food home with scholars that need the extra support.
