This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials in this DonorsChoose will help us with continuing our mission to ensure each student has food accessible to them. Our Youth Empowerment Services (YES) Program is growing!

We have touched so many students on our campus that they are now more than ever coming to our case managers for support/guidance and these snacks allow us to provide students with their favorite snacks, or quick meal.

As the cold approaches, we would love to have the opportunity to provide a warm cup of tea or coffee to our kids while they hide out from the rain on stormy days in our office. One of the best ways to connect is through food, and this allows us to break down students walls to be able to best support them.
