My Students

My students are like my family. They are so near and dear to my heart. My students are hard workers who love to learn! I teach at a Title I funded school with more than half of our student body composed of low-income families.

My students enjoy hands-on activities as well as exploring new ideas.

I love them, and I want to help them maximize their growth in the classroom to help make them successful adults.

I need your help!

My Project

This project is to provide snacks for the students who forget their snacks that day. Some students even worry about where their next meal will come from. It's a long, hard day without a snack.

Many times, students come to school without eating and have a hard time focusing on their learning.

Providing a snack during the school day after gym class will curb my middle schoolers' hunger and help improve their focus and concentration. The assorted snacks will help settle students' tummies from the pain of hunger. The items students get most excited about, including beef jerky and assorted candy.

Please help our students to be more concentrated on their work, rather than on their hungry tummies.
