Hungry High Schoolers

My Project

When I moved from teaching middle school to teaching high school this year, I foolishly thought the student requests for gum, a mint, or a snack would decrease, and I have been corrected!

High school students are often in need of a snack at school.

Whether they need a granola bar to get their day started, a pack or crackers to hold them over until lunch, or a gum, mint, or hard candy to keep their focus or wake them up, I am happy to provide whatever I can. Through this project and donations from the DonorsChoose community, I can provide for them even longer.

By providing these easy, convenient snacks for my students, I can ensure their basic needs are meet. Once those basic needs are met, my students can focus on the most important thing during their school day--the learning.
