Hungry Brains Can't Learn

My students need snacks so that their hunger needs can be met before they are expected to learn.

My Students

"I grew 2 levels," a student exclaimed. Students cannot wait to share their growth with their peers and teachers at our school. Our students attend a zoned school in East Nashville where 100% receive free lunch. All students walk or are driven to school, and parents and families are eager to be a part of our community!

My students are full of love!

I cannot wait to see each of their faces in the morning. Everyday we start with literacy centers, go to specials (yoga, gym, music, or math intervention), whole group reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Every day they grow socially and academically to be their best self.

My Project

I am asking for wholesale snacks in order to feel my students when they are hungry. If this project is fulfilled I will be able to provide snack to every student in my class for months, and also have the option to send snacks home with students who need it. These 15 boxes of large individually packed snacks will be everything I need to make these students full and ready to learn all day, every day! Our school has 100% free lunch and breakfast, but providing a snack after gym and other specials helps us to get our brains ready to grow when we return to class.
