This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I feel so lucky to work with such an amazing group of students every day. They are curious, creative, kind, and full of energy! They come to school ready to learn and grow—and I want to give them every opportunity to succeed.

One way to support their learning is through healthy snacks.

Many students come to school without enough to eat, and hunger can make it hard to concentrate, stay engaged, or feel their best. That’s where you can help.

I’m asking for donations of nutritious, individually packaged snacks—like crackers, fruit snacks, granola bars (nut-free), or applesauce cups. These snacks do more than just fill empty stomachs—they:

Fuel focus during reading and math time.

Ease anxiety and improve classroom behavior.

Show kids they are cared for, which builds confidence and community.

Every single donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference in our classroom.
