My Project
I have many homeless kids and families in my school. I try to provide these kids with the items they might need after school hours. I want to provide them with snacks so that they can have something to snack on over the weekend. Many of them complain that they don't have anything to eat on the weekends.
Long weekends are especially hard, so I pack ziplock bags with non-perishable food they can snack on until they come back to school for quick snacks.
I want to provide them with snacks to help them stay full over the weekend. I have requested items the kids like such as water, chips, and fruit snacks. These items will not ruin in their backpacks and therefore, when they get hungry they know they always have something to eat.
