Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to ensure that our athletes have the proper caloric intake for training and/or recovery during the summer months. These snacks will be available through our athletic trainer who supports our athletes all year round. Our students are dedicated to their sport but do not always arrive properly fueled for training. We would also like to have the ability to support those who need it with recovery. Our high school is a fabulous school with talented athletes, but food insecurity is real for many of them, especially in the summer.
