Wow, school has really changed since I was a student. The world is changing and to move my students and classroom into the 21st century, we really needed a HP laptop computer with a wireless mouse, carrying case and power cord.
My students are struggling readers in second and third grade.
The school consists of 33% low income families. Also, we have over 80 English Language Learners. Many students do not have a computer at home, so having access to an HP laptop is critical to their success in both reading and school.
My Project
You could be the one to bring technology to a students fingertips. Currently, I only have one student computer in my classroom. The opportunity to have another one would allow more students access to reading books online and completing writing projects.
This project for an HP computer is working towards make my students proficient readers and life-long learners, which is a teachers ultimate goal.
Also, the computer will motivate and spark students interest!
