My Students
"A picture is worth a thousand words" should be our motto. My students love using and creating visual aides. In order for my visual learners to benefit, we create posters explaining various topics. Students are engaged while creating posters, but we need HP ink to craft our masterpieces.
I currently teach close to 150 junior high students.
These students come from diverse backgrounds and many of them do not have access to the technology resources necessary for them to be able to get the best education possible. Most of my students are considered high need. Most have to wait their turn at the public library if they wish to have Internet access or print anything. Access to the HP printer I already have in my classroom will make it much easier for my students to complete their school work and projects, but in order to best utilize the resources we need HP ink.
My Project
Since my students are both haptic and visual learners, creating posters and projects is one of the best activities for them. It gets them involved in the lesson and lends itself to student based learning. My class goes through quite a bit ink when creating our visual aides. These HP supplies will help ensure that my class has access to the materials we need to best suit my students' learning style. The HP ink will lend itself to a variety of eye popping projects: maps, timelines, and more!
Research has shown that engaged students learn material faster and retain more of the information.
The HP ink will allow my visual learners to create wonderful projects that will not only help the creators master the topics, but can also be used by the students to explain concepts to their peers. Access to these resources can make a world of difference to my class. Visual Learners Unite!
